Treatment: Variety of Possibilities

  • Creative Process

    • Look at your list of vocabulary words.
    • For each word, try to think of the different people that might use that word.
    • Creative thinking involves looking at something from a variety of points of view.
    • This is called flexibility.
    • For example, if your vocabulary list includes the word vertical, you might list these possibilities:
      • A geometry teacher teaches about vertical lines.
      • A mountain climber climbs vertical slopes.
      • Someone who sleepwalks does not want to be vertical.
      • A tree stays vertical almost all of the time.

            • Does require e-mail and students should be over 13 if signing in under their own individual accounts.
            • I have utilized for small groups at one time (tutoring groups of 2-6) and allow individual students to sign their work under my log-in. I log-in for the students.
            • Caution -- students could be exposed to inappropriate Toons if allowed to wander around the site. For my tutoring students they were only allowed to create under my log-in and were not allowed to wander around the site.
